Heidi Miles Therapy

Psychotherapy for people seeking meaningful, long-term change through curiosity, creativity and relationship.

You may be arriving here because something in your life feels difficult, uncertain, or in need of attention.

Or perhaps you are simply curious about yourself and want to understand your experiences more deeply.

I offer a warm, reflective therapeutic space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and the patterns that shape your life. Together, we can begin to make sense of your experiences and consider what might help you move towards a way of living that feels more authentic and meaningful.

At the heart of my work is the belief that people grow and heal through understanding, relationship, and the courage to explore their inner world. I offer a reflective and compassionate therapeutic space where different ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing life are welcomed, including neurodivergent perspectives.

My approach values curiosity, creativity, and the connection between mind and body. Together we can explore the patterns, experiences, and relationships that shape your life, allowing new understanding and possibilities to emerge over time.

Psychotherapy

Whether we meet in person or online, I offer a supportive and collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Together, we will gently build understanding and self-awareness, making space for the unique ways you think, feel, and relate to the world. Over time, we can begin to make sense of your past and present, and consider what it might mean for you to move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Parent/Carer
Therapy

Being a parent or carer can be deeply rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. It’s okay to seek support when things feel difficult.

Experiences such as early trauma, neurodivergence, or challenges within development or schooling can shape how a child relates to the world and to those around them. In our work together, I aim to offer a thoughtful and supportive space where you can reflect, feel understood, and strengthen your confidence as the most important person in your child’s life.

Consultation & Supervision

Clinical supervision and consultation offer an important reflective space for professionals to think deeply about their work.

In a supportive and collaborative environment, we can explore your client relationships, consider the complexities that arise in practice, and deepen your understanding of the therapeutic process.

My aim is to support you in developing your thinking, confidence, and professional voice so that you can continue to work in ways that feel ethical, grounded, and responsive to your clients.

About Me

I am a relational integrative psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working therapeutically with children, teenagers, and adults.

My early training as a Play Psychotherapist continues to shape the way I work, particularly my appreciation for creativity, curiosity, and the many different ways people communicate their inner world.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens through relationship. Together we explore the relationships in your life — with yourself, with others, and the one that develops between us within the therapy space.

I believe that developing insight, alongside feeling supported and understood, can open the door to lasting change.

My approach is compassionate, reflective, and grounded in an understanding of the connection between mind and body in healing and recovery.

Above all, I hope to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and a greater sense of compassion towards who you are.

My Approach

People seek therapy at many different points in their lives — during times of difficulty, transition, or when there is a desire to understand themselves more deeply.

Therapy provides a supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly about your experiences. Through a thoughtful and collaborative process, we can explore what has shaped you, what feels challenging in the present, and what might help you move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

For many people, therapy becomes a place not only to work through difficulties, but also to develop a deeper relationship with themselves.

My aim is to offer a thoughtful therapeutic space for genuine self-exploration.

Our work together is shaped around who you are — your history, your ways of relating, and the questions you are carrying.

Therapy is not about removing struggle, but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, so that you can move through life with greater clarity, freedom, and choice.
